In a recent interview, the actor opened up about the much-talked about nepotism debate in the film industry. According to him, it is a herd mentality and is driven by a herd or rather an individual who feels like this. Ram revealed that he was always inclined towards acting. He was breathing cinema, meeting the producers. The actor also went on to add that he was in a film school ever since he was born, so he knows the art. And every other artist who is successful here, only the talent speaks, Charan told Pinkvilla.
Elaborating further, Ram added that had he not been good with his craft, he wouldn’t have sustained so long in the industry. He also expressed that his father and megastar Chiranjeevi might have helped him with the first steps but after that, it was his journey to navigate.
When asked about the advice he received from his father on the first day of his shoot, he revealed that while he hoped his father would give that one formula which made him successful, he said to him ‘this is the first day. Take care of your team, they are always next to you. If they start talking about you, it’s over for your career’.
On the work front, he will next be seen collaborating with Shankar for the first time for an untitled project. The film also stars Kiara Advani in a key role.
